Reset Control Enable Register (RCER)
Software hard reset. Setting this bit causes the MPC5125 to begin a hard reset flow. This bit returns to its reset
state during the reset sequence, so reading it always returns 0.
Software soft reset. Setting this bit causes the MPC5125 to begin a soft reset flow. This bit returns to its reset
state during the reset sequence, so reading it always returns 0.
Control register enabled. When set, indicates that the Reset Protection Register (RPR) was accessed with a
value that enables the Reset Control Register (RCR).
Writing 1 to this bit disables the Reset Control Register (RCR) and then clears the CRE bit. Writing 0 has no
effect.
