Figure 1-2 shows an example device that is built around the DSP56800E core.
The DSP56800E architecture optionally supports chips with external bus interfaces. For chips with an
external bus, the core architecture supports an external address bus that is up to 24 bits wide and data bus
widths of 8, 16, or 32 bits.
