26.3.9 Output Low Pass Filter
26.3.10 Calibration
2010-09-06 - d0001_Rev1.00
A low pass filter can be enabled on the DAC outputs by setting the LPFEN bit in DACn_CTRL. The 3dB
cut-off frequency can be configured in LPFFREQ in DACn_CTRL.
The DAC contains a calibration register, DACn_CAL, where calibration values for both offset and gain
correction can be written. Offset calibration is done separately for each channel through the CHxOFFSET
bitfields. Gain is calibrated in one common register field, GAIN. The gain calibration is linked to the
reference and when the reference is changed, the gain must be re-calibrated. Gain and offset for the
1V25 and 2V5 references, and offset for the VDD reference, are calibrated during production and the
calibration values for these can be found in the Device Information page. During reset, the calibration
register is loaded with the production calibration values for the 1.25V reference.
