A multiplex structure as described below has been implemented. It operates as follows:
Consider the case that only the first colum (thus actually no multiplexing) is triggered.
The more LEDs are switched on, the bigger is the total current through all LEDs. When
looking at the current through one LED when another one is switched on, there is a slight
decrease in the current caused by the internal transistor resistor.
When using an appropriate transistor type, the current through each of the LEDs is
approximately independent of the number of activated LEDs.
