The port M is a general-purpose, 8-bit input/output port. For this port, inputs and outputs
can be specified in units of bits. Outputs can be set by using the control register PMCR and
the function register PMFCx. A reset allows all bits of the PM, PMCR, PMFC1 to be cleared
to "0," and the port M to be put in output disable mode.
Besides the input/output port function, the port M performs other functions: PM0 through
PM5 input external interrupt (INT0~INT5). PM6 and PM7 output 32-bit timer compare
match.
