The RTC is available on all LPC122x parts.
The input clocks to the RTC timer can be selected through the SYSCFG
register in the PMU from the dedicated RTC oscillator or the RTC peripheral clock. The
input clock must be selected before the RTC is enabled in the SYSAHBCLKCTRL register
(see
If the RTC is used in Deep-sleep or Deep power-down modes, the RTC clock source must
be one of outputs of the dedicated RTC oscillator.
The RTC is reset by POR.

Dedicated 32 kHz ultra low power oscillator.
Uses 1 Hz clock, delayed 1 Hz clock, 1 kHz clock, or peripheral RTC clock as inputs.
Uses 1 Hz clock to count in one second intervals.
32-bit counter.
Programmable 32-bit match/compare register.
Software maskable interrupt when counter and match registers are identical.
