3.2.6 Creating Parameter File for Debugger
It is necessary to create a parameter file for the Debugger before starting to debug.
The Debugger db33 supports all the models of the S1C33 Family. However, since each model comes with its
own memory configuration and different board, information concerning the available memory range and board is
necessary for each specific mode. The parameter is used to set the information to the debugger.
To create a parameter file
Step 11) Click [Par gen].
[Par gen] button
The [Parameter file generator] window appears.
Step 12) Select [SIM] (simulator mode) from the [Debugger MODE] list box.
This selection is necessary for starting the debugger in simulator mode later. In the actual development, the
debugger mode must be selected according to the debugging tools to be used. In addition to the debugger mode,
memory configuration and other parameters must be selected. This tutorial use the default settings for creating
the parameter file.
Step 13) Click [Create Par file].
The parameter file 33xxx_1.par is created.
