There are two settings for holding bits. The “hold areas” specifies the data areas
or the parts of data areas for which status is held. The “hold bits” specify the
Racks for which outputs are held. The current settings will be shown. Racks that
are set are displayed in reverse video.
Hold Areas The following display will appear if “H:Hold areas” is selected. Spec-
ify the address of the first word in the CIO Area and the number of words that are
to be held.
