The 7D
The 7D
Packet buffers and a flow control mechanism between the ends of the VDSL channel,
prevent loss of packets. Packet buffers (8 Kbyte transmission buffer and 16 Kbyte
reception buffer) are located between the MII interface and the encapsulation block.
Address filtering includes 32 unicast addresses, self learning for source addresses
and automatic aging.
Erroneous packets are discarded.
