Description
Any-PHY channel number.
Program this register to the Any-PHY channel number
associated with this HDLC Channel. Prior to tearing down an
Any-PHY channel, all CI’s associated with that ANY_PHY
channel must first be torn down following the specified tear
down procedure.
Must be written to 0 for correct operation.
When set to 1, causes sequenced datagrams to be processed
as if they were non-sequenced, i.e. they are not re-sequenced
or re-assembled, but rather are immediately queued for output
on the Any-PHY interface. When output on the Any-PHY
interface, such datagrams will be marked as erred.
Note 1. This bit does not affect CI lookup in the RS Memory.
Sequenced datagrams will still be mapped to a sequenced CI.
Note 2. If DONT_RESEQ has been set on a particular Any-
PHY channel and it is then desired to clear the bit to re-enable
normal processing of sequenced traffic on the channel, steps 2
thru 6 of the CI teardown procedure detailed in section 10.7
must be performed for each sequenced CI pertaining to the
Any-PHY channel prior to changing DONT_RESEQ from 1 to
0.
Lower discard threshold, above which certain classes of
datagram may be configured to be passed and all other
datagrams will be discarded.
00 – AP_ALLOC_THR - 512 chunks
01 – AP_ALLOC_THR * 0.875
10 – AP_ALLOC_THR * 0.75
11 – AP_ALLOC_THR * 0.5
The CBLTEXI interrupt is asserted when a datagram is
discarded due to this lower threshold being exceeded.
The lower discard threshold is only activated if one or more of
the EN_LT_MLCTRL, EN_LT_LMI or EN_LT_ NONSEQ bits is
set to 1. If all three bits are set to 0, datagrams are only
discarded if AP_ALLOC_THR is exceeded.
When set to 1, activates lower discard threshold but allows
through control datagrams (those with the C bit set in ML-FR
or the MSB of PID(H) set in PPP) until AP_ALLOC_THR is
reached.
When set to 1, activates lower discard threshold but allows
through Frame Relay datagrams which have a DLCI of 0 or
1023 until AP_ALLOC_THR is reached. (Also allows through
FR control datagrams, although these do not have a DLCI.)
When set to 1, activates lower discard threshold but allows
through non-sequenced datagrams (including control
datagrams) until AP_ALLOC_THR is reached.
