11.2.2
EQM-12 Memory
This internal memory is used to setup configuration and read status per Egress HDLC Channel
and Multi-group. The default value of this memory is 0. All Reserved bits must be set to the value
defined for correct operation.
Table 36 EQM-12 Memory Map
Addresses 000 to 3FF contain, for each HDLC channel, configuration data pertaining to that
channel’s low-priority chunk buffer queue and/or data used when that HDLC channel is a
member of a multi-link bundle. (HDLC channels which are members of a multi-link bundle do
not have two levels of priority.)

Note: HP and TP must be set to 0 after reset. For subsequent initializations of the HDLC channel,
traffic must be stopped and when SZ=0, a read modify write must be performed on the new
configuration. V-TP, TP, and HP should be written such that their value is preserved.

Description
X
Reserved. Must be set to 0 for correct operation.
Space threshold. Must be setup to control HDLC
Channel availability indications over the ANY PHY I/F.
SPC_THR multiplied by 32 represents the maximum
number of bytes below which an HDLC channel will
indicate that it has space to accept a new datagram.
When TPA_MODE is set to 0, SPC_THR should be
set to {OV_THR – LO_PRI_MTU}
Reserved. Must be set to 0 for correct operation.
Overflow Threshold. This value must be set larger
than the SPC_THR value to indicate at which point
and overflow interrupt is generated.
Multi-link Group Number.
Any-PHY Channel number.
Indicates space available to accept a datagram.
Must be set to 1 when written.
Indicates chunk buffer queue has overflowed. Must
be set to 0 when written.
Must be set for HDLC channels that belong to a multi-
link bundle.
Valid Tail Pointer. See Note below.
Size. Must be set to 0 for correct operation.
Tail Pointer. See Note below.
Head Pointer. See Note below.
