Addresses 400 to 54F contain configuration data for each multi-link bundle. The same data may
also be accessed at addresses C00 to D4F. The only difference is that, when data is written to via
addresses C00 to D4F, only bits [189:150] (i.e. fields ML_SPC_THR, ML_OV_THR and the 2
reserved bits next to them) are modified. The other fields in the record retain their existing
values. (When data is written to via addresses 400 to 54F, all fields in the record are over-
written.) In other words, using addresses C00 to D4F allow the multi-link space and overflow
thresholds to be updated in real time without corrupting the other fields.

Description
X
Sets lowest fill queue arbitration to round robin
mode. The lowest fill queue is always selected
as the next HDLC channel to be serviced. When
multiple queues contain the same number of
bytes and Round Robin is set, priority is given to
the HDLC channel in the group following the one
that was just serviced. When set to 0, priority is
always given to the lowest channel in the group
with lowest fill.
Round Robin starting index. This context
indicates the channel in a ML group that will
have highest priority if multiple channels have
lowest fill. This index can be used to dictate
which channel will first be used when a bundle is
started up. Alternatively, this can be set to 0 and
the first fragment will be sent down the first link in
the bundle.
Reserved. Must be set to 0 for correct operation.
Multi-link Overflow Threshold. Defined as for
OV_THR above. This value overrides the HDLC
channel threshold value.
Reserved. Must be set to 0 for correct operation.
Multi-link Space Threshold. Defined as for
SPC_THR above. This value overrides the
HDLC channel threshold value.
Indicates chunk buffer queue has overflowed.
Must be set to 0 when written.
Must be set to 1 when written.
Queue size in chunks. Must be set to 0.
X
Number of HDLC channels in ML group.
The multi-link members (max of 12 HDLC
channels). The first member is HDLC_CHAN[9:0]
and the last member is HDLC_CHAN[119:110].
Indicates space available to accept a datagram.
