Appendix D: Example of Little-Big
When Little-Big-Endian byte ordering is used, this only refers to the data portion of the
interface to the Host, meaning that only data transfers are affected. This is useful mainly
for applications that use 32-bit values, rather than for plain stream applications.
Using big-endian mode in combination with buffers that are not 32-bit aligned is not
recommended.
