The first byte of every received HDLC frame is not stored in the receive FIFO and not
counted by the Received Byte Counter (RBC).

The first byte of a received HDLC frame after a software reset of the receiver or the
signaling controller is not stored in the receive FIFO and not counted by the Received
Byte Counter (RBC).
It is recommended to use of 7E
minimize the effect.
2.4
HDB3 line coding requires two different 4-bit substitution patterns to be used for
replacing a block of four zeros. If the received data stream does not fulfill the rule for
substitution pattern selection, no code violation error is counted.

The access to the Receive Equalizer parameters is not possible, if the microprocessor
interface is operated in “INTEL Multiplexed Mode”.
Use “Intel De-multiplexed Mode” or “Motorola De-multiplexed Mode” to modify the

The received loop code is not recognized correctly in all cases.
Even in these cases the loop code change detection interrupt LLBSC is working
properly. To minimize the effect it is recommended to implement a state machine in
software which keeps track of the sequence of detected loop codes. The expected
sequence is:
1. No loop code detected,
2. Loop up code detected,
3. Loop up code not detected anymore,
4. Loop down code detected,
5. Loop down code not detected anymore.
