Chapter 4
Channel Interfaces and
Data Control
The L64704 interface supports two independent interfaces for incoming
channel data and for decoded output data. Both interfaces are used
simultaneously. The input interface transfers data from an external ADC
device to the L64704. The output interface transfers data from the
L64704 to the next processing device, typically an MPEG-2 transport
demultiplexer such as LSI Logic’s L64007. This chapter contains five sec-
