The TPnCTL1 register is an 8-bit register that controls the operation of TMPn.
This register can be read or written in 8-bit or 1-bit units.
Reset sets this register to 00H.

CHAPTER 6 16-BIT TIMER/EVENT COUNTER P (TMP)
Independent operation mode (asynchronous operation mode)
Tuned operation mode (specification of slave operation)
In this mode, timer P can operate in synchronization with a master timer. For TMP1,
TMP2, TMP3, and TMP4 is specified as a slave timer.
For the tuned operation mode, refer to 6.6 Timer Synchronous Operation Function.
Generates a valid signal for external trigger input.

Count clock selection
Selects whether counting is performed with the internal count clock or the valid edge of the
external event count input.
Disable operation with external event count input.
(Perform counting with the count clock selected by the TPnCTL0.TPnCK0 to TPnCK2 bits.)

(Perform counting at the valid edge of the external event count input signal.)
