12. ACPI REGISTERS FEATURES
W83627SF supports both ACPI and legacy power managements. The switch logic of the power
management block generates an SMI# interrupt in the legacy mode and an PME# interrupt in the
ACPI mode. The new ACPI feature routes SMI# / PME# logic output either to SMI# or to PME# .The
SMI# / PME# logic routes to SMI# only when both PME_EN = 0 and SMIPME_OE = 1. Similarly, the
SMI# / PME# logic routes to PME# only when both PME_EN = 1 and SMIPME_OE = 1.
