The port 6 input/output mode is set by means of the port 6 mode register (PM6) as shown in Figure 5-56.
Operations for operating port 6 as control pins are shown in Table 5-10.
In the PD784021, P64 and P65 operate only as the RD and WR signal output pins.

Each port not specified as in control mode can be specified as input/output bit-wise by means of the port 6 mode
register (PM6).
Regarding each port not specified as in control mode, P60 to P63 are output-only port, and P64 to P67 can be
specified bit-wise as input/output by means of the port 6 mode register (PM6).
