TAP CONTROLLER
The TAP controller is responsible for interpreting the sequence of logical values on the TMS signal. It is a
synchronous state machine which controls the JTAG logic (see Figure B-1). In Figure B-1, the value shown next
to each curved arrow represents the value of the TMS signal as it is sampled on the rising edge of the TCK
signal.
