API2C Transmit FIFO Status
API2C Receive FIFO Status
A read to this location returns the data from the Receive
FIFO at the read pointer location and then increments the
read pointer. If the Receive FIFO is empty, the data
pointed to by the read pointer is returned, but the read
pointer is not incriminated.

Transmit FIFO Depth
This field indicates the current number of data bytes in
the Transmit FIFO. A value of 0 indicates that the Trans-
mit FIFO is empty, while a value of 8 indicates that the
Transmit FIFO is full. The values of 9-15 are reserved.
