Each bit has following meaning (Least significant bit represents the first
AUG-1. Don’t care for line side in STM-1 mode):
The corresponding AUG-1 is either an independent AUG-1 or the first
AUG-1 of a larger concatenated structure when ‘0’ (e.g., AU4-4c). The
corresponding AUG-1 is part of a larger concatenated structure (but not
the first one) when ‘1’.
Note: The least significant bit must be ‘0’ (the first AUG-1 is always
master). This bit will be forced to ‘0’, no matter what has been written to it.
