The LIN-UART control registers support the LIN-UART, the associated Infrared Encoder/
Decoder and the noise filter. For more information on the infrared operation, see
Encoder/Decoder
Data bytes written to the LIN-UART Transmit Data register
the TxD pin. The Write-only LIN-UART Transmit Data register shares a Register File
address with the read-only LIN-UART Receive Data register.
TXD—Transmit Data
LIN-UART transmitter data byte to be shifted out through the TXD pin.
Data bytes received through the RxD pin are stored in the LIN-UART Receive Data regis-
ter
address with the Write-only LIN-UART Transmit Data register.
RXD—Receive Data
