12.11 - XPort 9
The XPort9 is enabled by setting XPEN bit 2 of the SYSCON register and XPORT9EN bit 3 of the new
XPERCON register. On the XBUS interface, the register are not bit-addressable
This 16-bit port is used for general purpose I/O, the direction of each line can be configured via the corre-
sponding direction register XDP9. Each port line can be switched into push/pull or open drain mode via
the open drain control register XODP9.
All port lines can be individually (bit-wise) programmed. The “bit-addressable” feature is available via spe-
cific “Set” and “Clear” registers: XP9SET, XP9CLR, XDP9SET, XDP9CLR, XODP9SET, XODP9CLR.
