External memory interface (EMI)
The EMI Controller provides a simple external memory interface that can be used for
example to connect to NOR Flash memory or FPGA devices.
Main features:
SDIO controller/MMC card interface
The SDIO host controller has an AMBA compatible interface and conforms to the SD host
Controller Standard Specification Version 2.0. It handles SDIO/SD Protocol at transmission
level, packing data, adding cyclic redundancy check (CRC), start/end bit and checking for
transaction format correctness. The host controller provides programmed IO and DMA data
transfer method.

Can access 4 different peripherals using CS#, one at a time.
Supports single asynchronous transfers.
Supports peripherals which use Byte Lane procedure
