To display 16 × 16 pixel characters, use the following procedure.
To write large characters, use the following procedure. For further information, see the
flowchart in Figure 15-9 “Graphics Address Indexing,” on page 121.
1. Set the cursor address, REG[1Ch] - REG[1Dh]
2. Set the cursor shift direction, REG[17h] bits 1-0
3. Write to the display memory
1. Reads the character data from the CGRAM
2. Set the display address
3. Writes to the display memory
