The buffer memory is within the GP-IB Interface Unit, but it can be accessed
from the ladder program with the INTELLIGENT I/O READ and INTELLIGENT
I/O WRITE instructions (IORD(222) and IOWR(223).) The following table
shows the functions of addresses in buffer memory.
Name
0001 Hex: Device Trigger
0002 Hex: Set Remote Status
0003 Hex: Device Clear
0004 Hex: Set Local Status
0005 Hex: Set Local Lockout
0006 Hex: Serial Poll
0007 Hex: Interface Clear
0000 to 000D Hex (0 to 14 devices)
(If the number of peer devices is set to 0, do not specify
addresses.)
Set the device addresses for the specified number of peer
devices. (Set the first device address in 0002, the second
in 0003, etc.)
Each device address must be unique and between 0000
and 001E Hex (0 to 30.)
The results of serial polling are stored in the leftmost/right-
most bytes of these words in the specified address order.
Reserved area (See note 1.)
Delimiter specification (See notes 2 and 3.)
Timeout monitor time (See notes 2 and 3.)
Number of receiving device addresses (Used in Master
mode only.)
Receiving device addresses (Used in Master mode only.)
Set the device addresses for the specified number of
receiving devices. (Set the first device address in 0023, the
second in 0024, etc.)
Number of bytes of transmission data (Set in hexadecimal.)
Transmission data (512 bytes max.)
(Do not include the delimiter in the transmission data.)
Reserved area (See note 1.)
Delimiter specification (See notes 2 and 3.)
Timeout monitor time (See notes 2 and 3.)
Number of bytes to receive (See notes 2 and 3.)
Transmitting device address (Used in Master mode only.)
Number of receiving device addresses (Used in Master
mode only.)
Receiving device addresses (Used in Master mode only.)
Set the device addresses for the specified number of
receiving devices. (Set the first device address in 0145, the
second in 0146, etc.)
Number of bytes of reception data (Set in hexadecimal.)
Reception data (512 bytes max.)
(The delimiter is not included in the reception data.)
