3.0 Applications
The CX29600 is targeted for network edge applications where SONET OC-3 or
SDH STM-1 traffic is terminated for STS-1 payload processing. The CX29600
provides glueless connectivity to Mindspeed's CX29513 Broadband Access
Multiplexer on the system side. For HDLC processing applications, Mindspeed's
CX28560 interfaces to the CX29513 and the CX29600 for processing of 2,047
HDLC channels. Typical applications are illustrated in
Figure
3-1.
