21.3 Slow-Down Operation
The alternative to save the operating power is to slow the MCU’s operating speed by programming
SCKD2~SCKD0 bits (in PCON2 register, see
Section
22) to a non-0/0/0 value. The user should examine which
program segments are suitable for lower operating speed. In principle, the lower operating speed should not
affect the system’s normal function. Then, restore its normal speed in the other program segments.
