To perform all of these functions, the RX AAL2 VC module uses an RX AAL2 VC structure to contain its context and
report diagnostics. RX AAL2 VC structure is pointed to by entry in Utopia Lookup Table. The format of this structure
is the following:

Pending Cell Handle 0 Valid. When this bit is set, one or two cells are pending
AAL2 disassembly due to a straddling packet.
Pending Cell Handle 1 Valid. When this bit is set, two cells are pending AAL2
disassembly due to a straddling packet (straddling two cells).
This field contains the pointer to the most recently received cell pending AAL2
disassembly due to a straddling packet.
This field contains the pointer to the second most recently received cell pending
AAL2 disassembly due to a straddling packet.
VC Valid. When ‘0’, all cells processed by this RX AAL2 VC structure will be
discarded.
Last received AAL2 STF Sequence Number.
This field indicates the number of bytes of CPS header and payload that have
been received, but that are still waiting for CPS packet completion before being
freed from memory.
This pointer points to the RX AAL2 CID Translation Structure (in increment of1K
bytes). The CID of received AAL2 CPS packets will be used in index in this table.
Lost field. When ‘1’, the next cell to be received will be treated independently of
all previous cells that were received. The Sequence Number and the Offset will
be accepted no matter the previous packet reception state. When an AAL2 VC is
started, when an STF parity error is detected and when Middle HEC errors occur,
this bit will be set.
Received Byte Count is the total number received bytes in all CPS-packets that
were completely received. The number of bytes in a CPS-packet is defined as
LI+4.
Received Cell Count is the total number of cells received on this AAL2 VC.
This field is a counter of all the AAL2 HEC errors encountered in all received
CPS packets whose header was completely contain in a single cell.
This field is a counter of all the AAL2 Sequence Number errors encountered in all
received AAL2 cells.
