Handling Transmission Errors in Operating Mode 0
If the host sends a header block or a block that is not implemented in the protocol (a block type
number higher than 02 H ), the bootstrap loader reacts in a similar way as described in the figure
above, with the exception, that now a block error code (FE H ) is sent to the host. It is up to the host
software to handle this error properly.
The bootstrap loader flowchart of the complete transfer protocol of mode 0 is shown in figure 10-17.
