Troubleshooting Procedure
When an error occurs, use the following procedure to do a systematic check to
determine the cause of the error as quickly as possible and correct it.
Check external environment,
wiring, settings, etc.
Determine the nature of
the error.
Assess the error from the
LED indicator status.
Check the error code.
Check the error message.
Check the contents of the
error output words and bits.
Check if there is a mistake
in the program or data.
Contact the nearest
OMRON representative.

Check the error message displayed by the
Programming Console to determine the cause of the
error. Refer to 6-3 Error Messages and Alarm Outputs.

program structure, the use of instructions, the
data contents, and so on.
