ADS Functional Description
When the DDR1 module is inserted in the DDR interposer, the DDR pinout causes the MSC8144
to be signalled to supply its 2.6 V voltage.
5.1.4 Power for DDR Devices
The synchronous buck controller TPS51116 by TI provides a complete power supply for both the
DDR1 and DDR2 memory devices. The VDDQSET input pin selects the voltage for DDR2 or
DDR1. Available modes are shown in Table 5-1. The SPD Serial I
DDR2 SODIMM is powered from the system 3.3 V power source..
