Using a UART controller is a good solution in this case. NRZ or Manchester coding is
possible, but is to be held by the MCU itself.
In addition to the modes described above, the AT86RF211S provides a clock signal that
facilitates recovery of data by any low-cost MCU (no UART controller, for instance).
The data can also be synchronized on this clock signal—the benefits of this are:
