A) If you are using the TQFP44 package, follow these steps (refer to

Solder the Yamaichi socket base of the TQFP44 device adapter (ref.: DB332)
onto your application board. For footprint information, please refer to
footprint issues
Place the TQFP44 device adapter upon the socket base, aligning pin 1 of the
device adapter with pin 1 on the Yamaichi QFP44 socket. Pin 1 is indicated by
a chamfer and an arrow on the TQFP44 device adapter and by a little arrow on
the socket. You may fix the adapter onto the socket base with screws provided
with the Yamaichi socket.
