The resistor and capacitor reset circuit should be designed in such a way as to ensure that the VDD is stable
and remains within a valid operating voltage range before the RES line is brought high.
X1 can be a 6MHz or 12MHz crystal located as close to the OSC1 and OSC2 pins as possible
The 22pF capacitors are only applied if ceramic resonators are used
