Program Example
Slave Mode Program Examples
Sending Data
This program sends data to another device.
If the GP-IB Interface Unit is operating as a Slave, it sends data when a send
request has been received from the system Controller, i.e., the Talker Specifi-
cation Received Flag (CIO 2007.13) has been turned ON. In this example, the
5 words of transmission data are stored in the DM area beginning at D01000.
The transmission delimiter specification and timeout monitor time set in the
allocated DM area words are used for the transmission.

Stores data that will be written in buffer
memory.
Number of bytes of transmission data:
000A Hex (10 bytes = 5 words)
Transmission data:
5 words (0005 Hex) of data starting at
D01000 are copied to the 5 words
starting at D00011.
Sets parameters for IOWR(223).
Unit number of destination device:
0000 Hex
Number of words to transfer: 0006 Hex
(There are 6 words (12 bytes) to
transfer: the “number of bytes of
transmission data” setting and 5 words
of transmission data.)
IOWR(223) writes the “number of bytes
of transmission data” setting and the
transmission data. to buffer memory
beginning at buffer memory address
0031 Hex.
