Load regulation and transient load regulation
The load regulation (LdR) is a static variable that indicates the change in output voltage of
the voltage controllor ΔV
current ΔI
By contrast the load transient response (LdTr) represents the dynamic peak value to be
observed during load variation.
Thermal effects due to changes in the junction temperature are circumvented by testing with
pulsed load and are to be taken into account separately.
The figure shows the boundary conditions for t
the measurement of the load transient response.
