Screen that can be selected as function options set on the Peripheral Circuit Board is shown below.
Please refer to the "S1C88112/104 Technical Manual" for detailed specification of the S1C88104.
Peripheral Circuit Board (S5U1C88316P) options
Selects the OSC1 and OSC3 system clocks for the Peripheral Circuit Board.
These option selections are valid when performing software development on the ICE. For the system clocks
to be used on the actual IC (S1C88104), select them with S1C88104 mask options OPTION No. 1 and No. 2.

EPSON
When "1. INTERNAL CLOCK(32.768KHz)" is
selected, 32.768 kHz system clock generated
from the built-in crystal oscillation circuit is
supplied to the Peripheral Circuit Board.
When "2. USER CLOCK" is selected, a rectan-
gular wave clock can be input to the Peripheral
Circuit Board from outside through OSC1.
When "1. INTERNAL CLOCK(4.9152MHz)" is
selected, 4.9152 MHz system clock generated
from the built-in crystal oscillation circuit is
supplied to the Peripheral Circuit Board.
When "2. USER CLOCK" is selected, a rectan-
gular wave clock can be input to the Peripheral
Circuit Board from outside through OSC3.
