PRODUCT TYPE IDENTIFICATION:
The MF RC500 is the first product of a product family. Each member of the product family has its unique
Product Type Identification. The value of the Product Type Identification is shown in the table below:
Byte 4 indicates the current version number.
PRODUCT SERIAL NUMBER:
The MF RC500 holds a four byte serial number that is unique for each device.
INTERNAL:
These 3 bytes hold internal trimming parameters.
CRC:
The content of the product information field is secured via a CRC-byte, which is checked during start up.
