11.1 ATA Flash Disk Controller Drive Register Set Definitions and Protocol
11.1.1 ATA Flash Disk Controller Addressing
The I/O decoding for an ATA Flash Disk Controller is shown in Table 11-1.

The following section describes the hardware registers used by the host software to issue commands to the ATA

11.1.2.1 Data Register (Read/Write)
This 16-bit register is used to transfer data blocks between the device data buffer and the host. It is also the register
through which sector information is transferred on a Format-Track command. Data transfer can be performed in
PIO mode.
