There are seven registers that control the Local Oscillator: These are used primarily for test and evaluation by Intel
Corporation. Although VCO’s can be manually programmed, the user is recommended to use the default automatic
settings as these provide optimum performance.
The FLF bit is the VCO tuning controller lock output and is set when PLL is locked and the automatic VCO tuning is
optimised and complete.
Register 9 to Register E are for test modes only. It is however important that these registers are programmed with
the values shown.
