Cause
Check the connections and make sure that power is
supplied correctly.

Display the system menu and select the Transmit
Mode.

Using the Tool Settings of the NT-series Support
Tool, set the PT model and direct connection
settings that match the NT30/30C.
Check the communication setting in the Memory
Switch menu of the Maintenance Mode, and match
the PC and NT30/30C settings.

Switches, page 83.)
Check that the type, length and installation of the
connector cable match the specifications.

Connection to a PC by the NT Link, page 56.)
Set the PC termination resistance correctly. (Refer
to 2-6 Connection to a PC by the Host Link via
RS-422A, page 40.
Separate communications cables from the source of
the noise, and insert noise filters in power lines.

This is an NT30/NT30C specification. Connect via
NT Link when using a PC that supports NT Link
communications. (The mode is not changed if

the following condition is satisfied:
--100% setting < 0% setting < 100% setting
