4.3 Software Developer’s Kit (SDK)
The JN5148 Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) is provided to facilitate the development
of JN5148 wireless network applications on a PC. This SDK includes Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs) and development tools, and is supplied as two
installers, SDK Libraries (JN-SW-4040) and SDK Toolchain (JN-SW-4041), detailed
below.
Installation instructions for the JN5148 SDK and the Eclipse plug-ins are provided in
the JN5148 SDK Installation and User Guide (JN-UG-3064).
SDK Toolchain (JN-SW-4041): The SDK components installed from this file
include the following:
SDK Libraries (JN-SW-4040): The SDK components that can be installed from
this file include the stack software (IEEE 802.15.4, JenNet and ZigBee PRO)
and the following APIs:
For ZigBee PRO, you will also need plug-ins for the Eclipse platform that
implement the ZigBee PRO and JenOS configuration tools. These plug-ins are
available separately.
Eclipse IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
JN51xx compiler for use by the Eclipse platform to build applications
JN51xx Flash programmer to load built applications into nodes
Cygwin CLI (Command Line Interface)
802.15.4 Stack API for the coding of networking tasks
