Introduction
This document describes the Numonyx™ Serial Flash Memory (S33) device features,
operation, and specifications.
The S33 device provides superior performance with enhanced security features, taking
advantage of the high quality and reliability of the NOR-based Intel 0.13 µm ETOX* VIII
process technology. Offered in 16-Mbit, 32-Mbit, and 64-Mbit densities, the S33 device
is hardware and software compatible with existing industry offerings to ensure ease of
design.
The S33 device takes advantage of more than one billion units of flash manufacturing
experience and is ideal for code and data applications where simplified interface and
low cost are the primary requirements. Examples include PCs and notebooks, WLAN
and DSL cards and routers, printers, TVs, DVD/CD players and recorders, and other
consumer electronic devices.
