15.1 Timing
15.1.5 PHY Interface Timing (Standalone Mode)
The standalone mode of operation is entered when the PROCMODE input is at a logic high indicating that no
local processor is present. In this mode, the RS8234 changes its memory map to include the ATM physical
interface device. The interface is fully synchronous to SYSCLK and is designed to interface directly to the
RS825x ATM Receiver/Transmitter. Timing is given in
Section 10.6
