The UART module is one of the serial I/O modules
available in PIC32MX3XX/4XX family devices. The
UART is a full-duplex, asynchronous communication
channel that communicates with peripheral devices
and personal computers through protocols such as RS-
232, RS-485, LIN 1.2 and IrDA
ports the hardware flow control option, with UxCTS and
UxRTS pins, and also includes an IrDA encoder and
decoder.
