The Watchdog Timer clock control and block diagram is shown in the Figure 6.9-2.
Note:
1. Watchdog timer resets CPU and lasts 63 WDT_CLK.
2. If user intends to use WDT to wakeup power-down mode, it is recommended
that CPU clock source is set as the same as WDT clock source before CPU
enters in power-down mode.
18-bit free running counter to avoid CPU from Watchdog timer reset before the delay time
expires.
Selectable time-out interval (2^4 ~ 2^18) and the time out interval is 86.67 us ~ 21.93 ms (if
WDT_CLK = 12 MHz).
Reset period = WDT_CLK * 63, if WDT_CLK = 12 MHz.
