pad (GPO0), mic/line switching (GPO1), signal polar-
ity (GPO2), and phantom power (GPO3). There are
many ways to control each of these functions, each
with its own tradeoffs. See Design Note 140 (“Input
and Output Circuits for THAT Preamplifier ICs”) for
basic circuit ideas using relays.
