All isolation barriers on 300V input modules have been designed
and tested to meet 4242VDC as required by IEC950 for reinforced
insulation. The complete module should NOT be subjected to a
3000VAC input-to-output test because this can result in input-
baseplate-output breakdown. AMPSS DC-DC modules are CLASS
I equipment. Power supply systems using AMPSS modules MUST
also be CLASS I equipment. Each AMPSS DC-DC module is fully
tested in factory according to the standards. Therefore power
supply systems need only be subjected to Hi-Pot test for BASIC
insulation which is 1500Vac (AC) input to GROUND.
