Display
Displays are not lit up on all components of the system
External protective field display (OSSD red and green) is not lit
Readiness for startup state cannot be acknowledged (Readiness
for startup display lights up)
LEDs for the protective beam do not light up
Error: E1 and E2 are not lit up
Error: E1 is lit
Error: E2 is lit
Error: E1 and E2 are lit up
Possible fault remedy
Check the power supply.
Check the installation
Test the startup release button and its installation.
The protective beams are not free. Make the protective beam
free. Check the status of the displays on the receivers. Check
whether all transmitters are lit up. Eliminate any dirt spotsIf
necessary, readjust the transmitter and receiver. Check the
installation.
Activate the test or turn the voltage supply off and back on again.
If the error occurs continuously, there is an internal error present.
Send the SC2 control system in for repairs.
Check the DIP switch setting
Check the installation of the relay monitor (are the feedback con-
tacts normally open contacts?). If the system is supposed to work
without a relay monitor, turn off the corresponding DIP switches.
Check the cable between SC2 and the light barriers (transmitter
and receiver)
Possible errors are:
- Both channels have been taken out of operation
- The receivers are not connected correctly (interruption
- Short-circuit on a transmitter connection
or short-circuit)
by a jumper wire
